In 2015 I began a series of large-scale drawings “Compiler”, based on archival engineering and technological systems. In these, the engineering image is re-configured and further disrupted by the shifts and slips of the drawing process. This book is a continuation of that series in a new format, the mimeograph. It has been printed on a Gestetner Neo Cyclostyle duplicator, one of the first truly egalitarian print mediums developed c. 1890 to reproduce handwriting. Printed on Munken Pure Rough 120gsm paper using original charcoal grey and orange Gestetner ink.
